Stew Stender and Larry Pobuda met on the campus of Northwestern University; Pobuda was completing his MBA and Stender was recruiting for the Trammell Crow Company. Both worked for Trammell Crow Company and ultimately set out on unique career paths – a corporate path for Pobuda and an entrepreneurial path for Stender.

Stender has been involved in market leading office and industrial development, office and industrial acquisition and re-positioning, and multi-family, high-rise condominium development. Pobuda played a key role in developing new business units for the delivery of corporate and healthcare real estate, including development, investment and real estate services.

Both have earned reputations in the Twin Cities as community and industry leaders. Stender is currently on the board of trustees of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Mystic Seaport Museum, and Pobuda is the Chairman of the Board of CornerHouse. Both have served as President of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and both have been selected by their peers as the recipient of the President’s Award, the association’s highest honor.
