Minneapolis, MN, November 5, 2007 – Lawrence Pobuda, co-founder of Minneapolis-based Stewart Lawrence Group, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) as the 2008 Vice Chair of Government Affairs. Pobuda joined NAIOP in 1994 and is a member of the Minnesota chapter. He has also served as National Vice Chair of the Education and Membership Committees, and previously served as President of the Minnesota Chapter.

The NAIOP Executive Committee is elected annually and helps set the agenda for NAIOP. Led by the national chairman, the Executive Committee comprises the chairmen of NAIOP committees with appointed officers. The Government Affairs Committee educates and advocates on behalf of NAIOP members regarding issues most important to the commercial real estate industry, including taxes, finance, environment and infrastructure.
